Ryan Davis featured in "Young Sheldon", Episode 6, Season 5 "Money Laundering" and "A Cascade of Hormones." Davis died while the show was in production. Davis was a highly regarded sound department member whose work included a number of famous TV and film shows. For 50 episodes of "Young Sheldon" Davis excelled as a rerecording mixer, blending all audio elements seamlessly. Davis was the one who retooled the sound elements of each episode, including Adult Sheldon's narration. This added a layer of nostalgia to the show. The name of Sheldon, Amy and their future son was revealed by Davis in the "Young Sheldon" Season 4 premier. It's just one of the few memorable moments of the prequel show that Davis has contributed his skills throughout his celebrated career.
